EXPERIENCE

Founder of IKYWM Nonprofit Brain/Neural Parallel-Computing IOT Project. Developing of experimental models based on 25 years of combined institutional, corporate, and independent research. Modified statistical artificial neural nets networked across IOT processor groups. Preliminary proof-of-concept models have yielded promising data.

Co-Founder of MDMD, LLC, a nonprofit corporation devoted to public medical education in the areas of medicine, neurologic illness and brain-optimization for good health. It was originally started to serve as an educational vehicle for people with Parkinson's disease, their family members, and caregivers.

Independent Consultant on Access to Specialized Medical Care in Developing Rural Asian Populations, 2008-2015, Worked with Philippine Government officials, members of the Rand Corporation, local physicians, and independent businesspersons in the Philippines in evaluating demand, use of available medical resources, and methods of improving rural access to large tertiary metropolitan referral centers. Also studied the effects on resource-availability and economics resulting from the growing influx of international visitors to private existing medical facilities in the Philippines, and to other Southeast Asian destinations aka., "medical tourism."

Inventor and Developer of Several Medical Monitoring and Safety Devices, 1987-present. Name in US Patent Database for devices developed including safety method for prevention of burns during oral laser surgery, methods for monitoring depth of anesthesia to prevent awareness under anesthesia, improved methods for safer monitoring of invasive (catheter) measurement of blood pressure and pressures inside the heart and pulmonary system, protection system for minimizing the risk of needle-stick injuries.
